Container Garden Class: The Portable Kitchen Garden

You don’t need a plot of land to grow a few kitchen herbs and vegetables. Many edibles can be grown in containers and window boxes, and placed on a sunny deck or porch (there are even a few things that will grow in the shade). Come and see how easy it is to grow a few edibles for your family. Nancy Wallace of Wallace Gardens (a Suwanee-based garden design business) will demonstrate how you can put together a successful kitchen container garden, share some tips about organic fertilizers, and provide recipes for organic insecticides and pesticides.
