One of the long-term plans on the master plan for White Street Park is to plant an orchard in the south pasture (on the opposite side of the park from the garden). The Managing Board has been working for several months with local landscape architect and Suwanee resident, Roger Grant, to develop some initial concepts. We have formed a work group and have collaborated with Roger and the Board to develop the final concept plan. We will begin planting in fall 2014. We are now looking for volunteers who can help us plant during one of a few community planting days.
